not a pretty game but a good win, especially because the defense won the game. perk started real good and was taken right out of the game with 2 fouls. i swear they are calling some real cheap ones on him.celtics- whatever you do, hold onto leon. he is a keeper. it was good seeing dwest play a good game. i hated to see him go. big al is a better and more important player, but i miss dwest more. the cavs are not comfortable with each other but they are dangerous. one of my favorites- varajao threw out a real stinker in this one.
Powe runs the pick and roll very well. He sets the pick quickly
and solidly and then rolls strongly to the hoop. He generally sets the pick in a spot on the floor where it allows him to roll to an open area near the hoop. He has played well
when given his opportunity for some playing time. Garnett would be well served to roll to the hoop more instead of settling for the pick and pop.

This game was more ugly than it should have been — the fact that we shot so much better than them yet the score was so close says that they were getting a lot more shots. We got killed on the boards. Not too much you can do against Varejao, Wallace, Z, & Smith. Even Delonte rebounds well. But we’ll need to do better. They kept coming. They locked down on Pierce.
