Sam Will Play Tonight
PHILADELPHIA — After going through shootaround this morning, Sam Cassell has been deemed ready for active duty. According to Doc Rivers, the recently acquired free agent point guard should see some time against the 76ers tonight. Rivers informed Brian Scalabrine in a courtside discussion that he would be on the inactive list for the game.

If this doesn’t work, it’s all mcpu40’s fault.

So, we’ll know in 2 weeks whether Sam will fit as he insists he will.
I still have some “Amazing Happens” memories of Gerald Green. And it did take Chauncey Billups more then a few teams/years to become the player he is. Does anybody like the idea of signing him up somehow? Such talent! It can’t be beyond him to learn from his hard fall. Isn’t there a helluva player in there somewhere?
