Experience shows that in the NBA teams have to re-commit, re-motivate, and shift into another gear in the playoffs. I’m not sure how much more the C’s can give. Can they actually turn it up for the playoffs? What may help is having acquired two new bench guys who will probably get some PT. Working them into the rotation towards the end of the season will give everyone new motivation. I look at it as a needed distraction that the Cs will work out by playoff time and then kick into a higher gear. At least I hope that’s the case. Sweet loss for the Lakers last night. 4.6 left on the clock, ball inbounded to Kobe who ball hogs on a double team, doesn’t pass, and hits the front of the rim at the buzzer.
