Playoffs Primer
Here's my latest at the Boston Metro:
Boston fans are used to seeing the Sox and Patriots in the playoffs. We know what to expect and look forward to. Not so with the Celtics. In the last 12 years, the Celtics have qualified for the postseason just four times. This year’s team has already clinched a playoff spot with the best record in the league heading into Thursday night’s action. So, it seems like a good time to take a refresher course on what to expect next.

the team that scares me the most in the playoffs, more than any west coast team is the cavs. it’s not because they are better than us— they are not. i had to stop watching the cavs- wiz game last night after witnessing the refs to allow lebron to run into people on his merry way to the basket and the foul going the other way. david stern should be ashamed of himself or investigated on how he allows preferential treatment for certain players, but most specifically lebron who is a super talent but is being babied by the league and it is not the ranting of an irate fan (me) but as clear as a bell when you watch the game. the manifestation of this baby treatment is how lebron is always acting like a catastrophe has occurred whenever he hits the floor and has a serious injury until he gets up and runs into more people. i have lost respect for baby lebron and chicken stern, and fear the cavs-league treatment.
