gotta say, I LOVE the Sam Cassell, Eddie House, Ray Allen lineup.

if i’m a fan who went to the game i would want my money back. it was a disgrace to the men and women in uniform to see the lack of effort from coach to player for the second straight game in the end of the 4th quarter. if the great doc wants to experiment with combinations— why doesn’t he hold a practice? practice what a novel idea. and the doc apologists- don’t tell me he is resting players and a practice is too much. do any of us get paid like these guys do? how many practices has sam had? even kg was sleepwalking and if he’s not hurt he should forfeit a game check to the uso for his effort when he sleep walked the last 6 minutes. the criticism starts at the top. ibet doc has seen more georgetown practices than celtic ones lately. losses are acceptable when the effort is there, but not when they only play part of a game and get thrown out of their rhythm by a guy who says to the press that he is going to keep his starters intact and then plays poopy brained combos.

It’s even better when they find a way to mix Tony in there.
I hate this “experimenting” thing. Mix Sam and P.J. in situationally; don’t make wholesale changes to the rotation. All that’s going to do is disrupt chemistry heading into the playoffs.
KG came back into the game with just under 7 mins to go and by that point was stone cold. Same for RA. Pierce didn’t even see the ball on offense in the 4th quarter. Losing a game at home to a 500 club is inexcusable when you consider that your three best players played less than 35 minutes each.
I’m sorry but the days of 10 man rotations should be long over by now.
At least that Navy guy got free lasik. That got the crowd excited.
Sixers are for real. Since that March 10th game, they’ve beaten the Pistons and Bulls on the road and Spurs and Nuggets at home. Eastern Conference, you’re on notice. Don’t worry. We’ll get that fifth seed and take out LeBron for you. Looking forward to seeing you in the second round, Celtics fans!

19-0 run?? is that how much it was???
ouch.
At least now they have their go-to video to show them how NOT to play.
screw the sixers. They’re a bunch of punks who think they’re way better than they are. We’d all owe them a debt of gratitude if they somehow beat orlando or (LOLZ!!) Detroit to get to the second for the prize of being swept by the Celtics.

I missed the game. Why didn’t Posey play?
Missed game for “personal reasons”. I think this team is mentally tired. I don’t see a problem playing with the rotations to see how Cassell and Brown fit in. The second unit wasn’t scoring well before they came on board. Also, last nite BBD and Powe got minutes. They may need to sacrifice some games to see what they need to do in the playoffs. With all that said, they could have and should have won the last two games. It seems the energy is gone in the last quarter. I think the next two games will be very important for us. With maybe Washington as an exception they’re the last 2 quality teams we’ll play. And let’s not forget this team hasn’t practiced.
I was at the game and it was disappointing. The whole game they were kind of sleepwalking through. You got the feeling they were like ’we’re up by 6 so everything’s fine’ but that’s exactly where the Sixers wanted them. It really did seem like Doc was running practice out there through a lot of his lineups and minutes. The offense never ran through Pierce. Ray was hot in the first so we promptly away from him for a few quarters. We never attacked the basket offensively. We didn’t get back on defense. I don’t know how many points they got just jamming the ball down our throats while we were either 1) hanging our heads for missing a dunk or floater or 2) celebrating our hit jumpshot. They played an easier higher percentage game and they fought harder to get this win. We weren’t battling for rebounds. We’d were down by a few and I’m trying to yell “Get in the game” but no one can hear anything, the crowd is watching some guy do a goofy dance in the aisle or trying and tell if the dancers are wearing any underwear. Disappointing.
WHY has no one mentioned the fact that we play the phoenix suns on wednesday night, and that the players are so focused on getting revenge wednesday, that they forgot they were playing a much more important game last night (a potential preview of the eastern conference first round for us)??
this team has got to be careful not to become so absorbed in planning ahead for western conference teams that they fail to pay attention to their own conference. we just swept the texas triangle; what more is there to prove to the media, and what’s it matter what they think anyways? and in the playoffs, we only play one western conference team…and that is IF we make it out of our own conference.
keep your heads on straight, boys.
