C's Hold Heat to Record Low 17 FGs
There's something about that number that I like a lot.
BOSTON (AP) -- Kevin Garnett offered polite praise of the Miami Heat before Paul Pierce interrupted the postgame news conference and said, "Man, I am going to tell you the truth."
Then he did."They got D-Leaguers out there, so I think we just handled our business," the Boston forward said, listing some of the five Miami players who spent time in the developmental league this season. "We're supposed to do that. We knew this was a game we were supposed to win, and we just focused from the jump and went out and did it."Then he slapped Garnett on the head and said, "Let's go."

One of the funniest press conferences in a long time…KG was being so sensitive to the Miami situation when Paul jumped in gave his two cents and then (gently) smacked KG in the back of the head and said we’re outta here (or words to that effect)..which is why PP is the Captain..

Last night was my son’s fist Celtics game.
He’ll be four in a couple weeks.
We left at half time…I told him they’d won.
He was thrilled to be in there…
It is beyond words to describe experiencing the game thru him and with him.
Thankfully there were no loudmouths around us or anything.
It was a great, great experience.
Great that you and your son had a great experience at your first game together, 40. I think they had enough points to win the game in the first half so technically you were weren’t lying.
Refreshing to hear Paul’s interruption at the press conference. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black after last season, though.
