Rondo Is The Future

Rondo is becoming one of the premier guards in the league. I remember reading an article when he was drafted about how cocky he was, which is a good thing. He wants to show everybody up and prove he's the best on the court. He also seems like a nice guy off the court.

During the season he had a few ups and downs, but overall he stayed consistent. He's been a warrior throughout the season taking a lot of hard hits, and many times I worried if he wasn't going to be able to get up. I can't think of many players in the league that is quicker then him, but maybe Parker, but we saw how Rondo shut him down.

The last two games against the Hawks Rondo clearly showed he's the better player matched up against Bibby. And the fan let Bibby know that to with, "Rondo is better" chants. Rondo is starting to get consistent with his jumper to. He wont be no Chris Paul, but I do believe he will be a top notch point guard in the league.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Gotta Hang on To Rondo

I love Rondo. I’m actually thinking of shelling out the money for a Rondo jersey next year. I definitely think the Celtics need to sign him to a long-term contract as soon as possible and ensure he stays green. I’m a big stat-head and think WP48 is pretty great. According to that stat, Rondo was the best rookie in his class.

RONDO!

There is a lot to like right now about Rondo – his reasonable contract, age (22), rapidly improving game and love of rollerskating. The guy can straight up play. I’d like to see him in Boston for a long time.

Green Bandwagon: Celtics '08 or bust. Are you on the bandwagon?
