The Pity Party Is Over
Ok, I've let it sink in for a day. I tried the penitent fan route. I tried being nice. That's all over now.
The Celtics are going to put an end to this nonsense. You fans are going to go to the game, scream your lungs out, and watch the better team win. The Hawks are still the Hawks. The Celtics are still the 66 win, beat-every-team-in-the-league, record turnaround, Boston Celtics that we know and love. They didn't go anywhere. They just got off track. That's over now too.
Boston in 6.

I love the optimism, Jeff. That’s what Celtic nation needs right now. Our crowd better be as loud as ever tomorrow night, because I want to see my team again. I don’t know where they’ve been this week, but I want to see them unleash the dragon. I want them to attack, I want the defense to be on-point and suffocating, I want ball movement, I want intensity, I want KG to scream and bang his chest… I want Boston Celtics basketball.
Go get em, green.
Sir Rants Alot:
I have three large cups in front of me.
Green Kool Aid Cup # 1 – if we blow them out tomorrow ….doesn’t sound good right now but I could easily connect the IV directly from the cup to my arm if we find our groove …….
Jim Jones Purple Aid…..not quite ready to gulp it down but it is at the ready to drink as I scream Freeeedom!!!!!!…..
and of course….. Vanilla flavored Whiskey…… if we win by the hair of our chinny chin chin Wednesday then I need to become “comfortably numb” for an extended period of time until game 6.
Regardless of the cup I choose, I will not be watching “Live” Wednesday….. I don’t need that vibe in my temple….way too stressful….screews with the “chi”
Holla atcha boi! This is getting a little rediculous, we all drowned our sorrows and vented here away from the watchful eyes of the enemy as we should of but agreed, today’s a new day. Let’s see if KG’s worth the price of admission, regular season means nothing, the Ticket’s gonna blow up and I’m going to cry with joy. Gadzooks…this is the first round, we’re not used to this.

Glad they’re getting a wakeup call early in that teams with nothing to lose will do anything to win and the Celtics gotta acknowledge that and be above it. I’m really disappointed in Perkins though – playoff time you step up, not fade to black.

It has been a tough couple of days. The reality is that Championships are never given to anyone, least of all the Celtics.
I am hoping like desertgreen, that this is an early and valuable play-off wake up call.
We strolled through the first two games and probably thought we had their number. I even remember reading Jeff’s comment about the Hawks not being a true opponent (or some words to that effect).
Well, here we are, 2 – 2 and the momentum with the Hawks.
Now is the time when we see the Big Three really earn their money / stripes.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
There has been a hiccup, I just hope it does not turn into a very serious case of indigestion.
I still believe in this team and I will be yelling and screaming from Down Under.
Go the Green !!!!
It’s time to get our mojo back !
Ubuntu !!!
Cheers
Aussie
The Celtics have already lost the next series regardless how this one ends.
