Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Game 4 (2nd Half) - Open Game Thread

So that happened. Boston, despite some frantic play over the final 6 minutes or so of the half, trails by 18. As a result I've decided to start a whole new open game thread. Not that the other one was filling up or anything - 4 comments total, 3 by me. But it seemed appropriate. Now we can sit back and watch the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. I'm a pathetic optimist. In the spirit of the impossible:

Run!

The Truth just made a sick move, and House earned his money. Kobe missed.
Here they come.

Farmar's Three

It looms large.

4th Quarter

Are we going to see the Kobe Show?

Sweep the leg?

And Vujacic is now officially a villain. Taking out a jump shooter’s legs? That’s not right.

Pierce

I think Pierce has gotten better in the last month. I don’t think it is just me coming around to his game. He is improved. Clutch shot to with the shot clock winding down.

Disagree

You’re just finally seeing the light.

Hell Yeah Celtics!

OMG I can’t believe the final score tonight. Ray Allen is the man. 20 is back. What a win. What a win.

His final bucket was huge

But how about Allen blowing by Kobe baseline and going MJ with the reverse lay up. That was incredible.

All credit to Jim...

...for starting a new thread when Boston was down big.

You realize, of course, that if the Celtics fall behind in game 5, you’ll have to start a new thread again.

Simmons' reverse jinx

I guess it’s my version.
