Pink Hat On The Way

Just a personal note: My wife and I just found out today that we're having a girl! So that's one more for the Pink Hat Brigade. Between that news and the Celtics beating the Lakers for the title, not to mention a birthday/anniversary vacation coming up in a week, I'm having a great month.

By the way, we have a name picked out and we'll announce that when it is born in November. Some rejected names include: Paulina, Kevina, and Billrussellredauerbachlarrybird. However, I reserve the right to call her a Big Baby and encourage her to become a doctor.

Or you could always go the Costanza route, add ten and just call her Seventeen. I quite like that one actually.

Once again Jeff, congratulations! How great it is that you will have such a overwhelmingly positive association between the championship and the birth of your daughter. KG said over and over the other night that second to the birth of his child, this championship was the best thing that had ever happened to him. It might feel as though you’ve reached a high point in your life recently, but in November, just as another season begins and we relive the wonderful memories being made now in these moments before us, you will rise up another notch. Quite possibly you might find yourself elated and uncontrollably emotional, screaming to the heavens, “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!”
