Celtics Pride host Patrick Gilroy has a nice article recaping the Championship season. A sample:

Allen proved to be just the bait that the Celtics needed to land the biggest fish in the pond, Kevin Garnett, and by the end of the summer, with the addition of other key players like Eddie House and James Posey, the Celtics had been transformed from a 24-win lottery team to the early favorite to win the 2008 NBA championship.

Gilroy has shocked me with the quality of his writing although sometimes he sounds like a jackass on the radio! ;D

Danny and Doc and his coaches must have already made this decision. And either they have to trade Pruitt or replace Sam with him. Pruitt can play both guard spots and is reputedly a good defensive player. In any case, management has had him for a year between Development League and with the team time. Again, they must have made their decision.
