Tony Allen: Back from the Brink?
I wrote a FanPost just yesterday saying that Tony Allen looked doubtful for the NBA Finals. Well word is he made it through practice and might be able to go. Mark Murphy relayed Allen's take on his situation, "God is good." I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm a huge Tony Allen fan and he scares the hell out of me. Announcers talk about rust when a team has 4-5 days off between games. Compare that to Allen who has played 45 minutes since April 16th. My biggest concern is that the Celtics will throw Allen on Kobe Bryant who will proceed to dominate the shooting guard out of Oklahoma State. What do you think?

BRING HIM BACK!!
I say bring him back. He’s Tony Allen. Isn’t playing ball like riding a bike. He takes the first couple of minutes to bang the dust off and then he is back into the full swing of things. Now, if he is not 100% I don’t know if I want him going head to head with Kobe. It remains to be seen, but I’d love to get Tony Allen some face time in tonight’s game #1!!

Tony needs minutes
He’s at his best when he’s playing starter’s minutes. And that’s just not a possibility on this squad. I don’t like him playing short spurts off the bench.
Green Bandwagon: Celtics '08 or bust. Are you on the bandwagon?
