How much do you think he's worth?
Would you extend him this offseason or would you wait until he’s an RFA next year? Leon deserves to explore all of his best options, but it would be awesome if we can lock him up at something like $20 million/4years.

Good Question
Obviously the Celtics have an issue with their salaries, even if the ownership will pay the luxury tax and it is working out for them right now. You make a great point though. If they let him play out next year someone could offer him a deal that the Celtics don’t want to match. However, if Powe opted for financial security sooner rather than later and took a Kendrick Perkins style deal now (Perk’s yearly salary does not exceed $4.5 million over the next 3 seasons) the Celtics would have to be interested. Right now Powe is a fantastic back up for Kevin Garnett and can even sneak by at the 5 in some situations. And I’m not overreacting here. Powe has contributed ever since KG sat out with his ab injury.

Powe
Hate to say it guys, but while we’re hoping Leon plays his ass off and helps you beat the Lakers this year AND next (nobody else in the West is gonna knock them off next year) all of us in the Bay Area also hoping in doing so he prices himself out of Boston and comes back here to the bay to play for his hometown Warriors. But like I said I hope he comes back with a couple rings, so enjoy him while you got him and good luck!
BEAT LA!

Powe
You’d love the way he rebounds. He’s ferocious on the boards. I still remember how hard he worked down the stretch of the 2007 season, which was by all accounts awful.
