- In the midst of his last summer of international play Rasho Nesterovic helped Slovenia defeat Korea today.
- Croatia took care of business against Cameroon. However, they failed to do so in a convincing fashion. You need to click on the link if only to see the word "basketbally", which I have never seen before. I like it. And I'm officially on board as a fan of the Croatian coach - Jasmin Repesa. Why? I'm not entirely sure.
- Finally Greece closed out a day absent of upsets by shooting 73% in a victory over Lebanon.
