Babble On Way

Just a quick update on the Daily Babble -- or lack thereof so far this morning. Major power outage took place last night in my area that continues this morning. Much of the piece has been written on paper with the aid of a flashlight so far. Sadly, that doesn't really allow for the transmission of my ramblings on to your computer screen. So I'm finally out to a local Panera Bread cafe (free wireless!) in order to get the Babble typed up and distributed. It should be up and good to go in the next hour or two, and rest assured you have my sincerest apologies for the delay - although for some, I'm sure it's a welcome break from my early morning buffoonery.

Thanks for your patience, and the Babble will be up shortly.

Much thanks, Mon. I appreciate the kind words, and I’m only a few minutes away on the Babble. It’s just being proofread.

If anyone’s scoring at home, I highly recommend the cinnamon crunch bagel with honey walnut cream cheese at Panera. I think I could be on my third or fourth one of these by the end of the morning.

That’s bad luck Steve … little funny though, especially the image of you with the Flashlight. Old-School right there. It might have been worth it for that.

No problem, Who — more than happy to do ay extra work needed for the great readership and community we have here.

Glad you got some amusement out of the old-school writing. The real problem is twofold though: First, I was tired as it was, and writing in the dark didn’t help. I wound up passing out at 1:45 and setting my alarm for 3 am, hoping the power would be back so I could write all night. It wasn’t. Tried again at 6 am. No good. By 8:30, still sans power, I headed out to the cafe.

Problem number two? My hand-writing is renowned for its lack of legibility. So having something ot type from didn’t turn out to be all that much use after all >:(

Ah, well…I’m just glad the Babble’s up, and hopefully the next one will be less of an adventure.
