Miami Former Celtics
I couldn't help but chuckle upon reading this blurb from a Miami Heat blog:
Among the emails to pass this way in the recent dog days of free agency are those wondering, just wondering, about the potential virtues of a Ricky Davis reunion.
Yes, he can score. Yes, there might be something to be said about Davis as a sixth man.
But there's no way you distance yourself from 15-67 by bringing back too much of the 15-67. With Mark Blount and Marcus Banks, there is little choice. They're under contract. But with Davis a free agent, the Heat would actively have to pursue a reunion.
With all due respect to Heat fans, ...aaaaaaaaaahhhahahahahahah! Hooooo! Glad that's not us anymore. That is all I have to say about that. Thank you.

I’d love to see Ricky back. It would be worth the ability to keep Paul and Ray’s minutes down when we need a scorer in the game.
Let him do what he does best. Instant offense off the bench. 20 minutes a game.
KG will kick his a$$ up and down he street if he doesn’t buy in.

Uh, just like KG kicked his ass up and down the street in Minny? How’d that pairing go?

I Don’t think Ricky would buy into Ubuntu or just playing 20 minutes a game. Blount would be a guy who you give one year
contracts to. Even that might not keep him from dogging it.
He is lucky he is 7 feet tall. If he was 6’6" he’d be checking
IDs at some night club.
