I linked to this article for two reasons:

1. It reminded me that LeBron James is 23. How did I forget that? Can you imagine what he'll do in 4 years?

2. It also has a picture of LeBron driving by Semih Erden, who the Celtics drafted 60th overall this past June.

Other thoughts:

- If the highlights are any indication this version of Team USA is looking to dunk on opponents in Beijing.

- Everyone knows Dwight Howard. Still this could be his coming out party.

I've been decidedly unimpressed by Howard

in these first two games. Sure he had some awesome dunks today, but most of those were off great feeds from his teammates. He struggled to guard the Turkish big men as well.

That's fair

He could struggle adapting to the international game. I’m hoping he comes around and goal tends like crazy. If a guy can dunk a ball while posting a sticker on the basket he has to be able to goal tend right. Also how awesome would the mid 80s Patrick Ewing been at international defense?
