Q&A With Me
Tom Halzack of CelticsCentral (Conn Post) asked if I would answer a series of questions for him about the Celtics and CelticsBlog.com. I was more than happy to oblige. Below are some highlights.
Tangent: Is it conceited to quote myself and then call the quotes highlights? I feel very Ricky Henderson doing that. Jeff Clark wants you to know he's a really big deal. I love me some me. Tangent over.
3. Who is the Celtics’ MVP?
Paul Pierce. They made him Captain for a reason. KG brings the fire on defense and sets the tone, but he can’t put the team on his back and will them to victory the way Paul does. Paul also had the wisdom to sacrifice his game and buy into the Ubuntu and defense-first mentality that drove the championship last year. He also plays a happy medium between KG’s over-the-top emotion and Ray’s smooth as ice personalities. Paul is a fiery competitor and cold blooded at the same time. He makes it all work so he’s the MVP.
12.5 Though he was never drafted, known widely to have a terrible jumpshot, and could only dribble right handed, you have mentioned that you are a reader of William Shakespeare. Leave us with a quote from the Bard.
If Danny isn’t successful in his attempts to bring in some help, Doc’s going to have to do his best Henry V impersonation.
“The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more…
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother;”

but it might be a bit much to link to yourself twice in the same post…oh and tagging it too! hahaha
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"

nice :)
I read the piece before I came here and I was going to hop on here and tell you how right you were with the answer to that 3rd question. So yeah, you’re right to pick that one out and put it up here too ;)
Good interview, good answers and thanks for blogging for us. You da man.
