Delonte Out 6 Weeks
Cavaliers starting guard Delonte West will miss up to six weeks with a broken right wrist sustained in a nasty fall on Thursday night in Chicago.
"It's going to be tough for us," LeBron James said. "It's going to be tough on everybody but everybody has to step up. We'll see what happens. You can't fill Delonte's shoes. Everybody just has to step up. Delonte's toughness and what he has been able to do for this team this year is unmatched. There is nobody who can step into his shoes."
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers got positive news on injured center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who has been out since Jan. 2 with a broken left ankle. Ilgauskas has been cleared to resume on-court basketball activities and could return to game action in two more weeks.

that was one nasty fall. dwest plays with reckless abandon. i hate the cavs, but always root for this guy. contrast dwest with bull in a china shop lebron, who has to have his mommie give him kisses on his booboos so that the refs and stern can do makeup calls in his favor.
Even if he is a Cav, it’s hard to root against Delonte. Another tough setback, especially since DWest has really hit his stride.

Yeah, but that Lebron is beast
Sick as a dog with a bad cold, and he still has a great game… didn’t hurt that his teammates were hitting 3s like crazy. But this coming road trip should bring them down a couple of notches.
Cavs will beat LA Monday
LA’s the same team we thought they were – even with the Cavs missing 2 starters, they won’t be able to hold the home court…
Delonte said he would be out a “maximum 5 weeks” in the interview during the Cavs’ win over the Hornets last night.
nazzbo, LOL!

I like DWest but...
like Gerald Wallace the way they play the game dictates that they’ll be out with injuries for a part of every season. He’s not Mr. Glass, but West should think about playing smart rather than throwing his body around.
