Perk In, Tony Still Out
Kendrick Perkins will be in the Celtics' starting lineup against the Miami Heat tonight, his first appearance since a 98-83 loss at Cleveland Jan. 9. Perkins (left shoulder) has been participating in shooting drills, but avoiding contact as the Celtics (34-9) went on a five-game winning streak.
Guard Ray Allen rejoined the team after attending the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C., Tuesday. Guard Tony Allen (ankle) will not play against Miami or Orlando (Thursday), but hopes to return against Dallas in Boston Sunday.

Why not hold him out until tomorrow?
Its not like Miami has any kind of front line to contend with, and playing a back to back isn’t the most ideal way to return from an injury like his… I don’t like it, hopefully his mpg are very limited tonight.
Maybe thats the Idea, with no real big men to go against they can try him out and not worry about someone like shaq dropping a house on him and knocking the shoulder out of place again.
