Celtics Stuff Live: Tonight With Marc Spears

Celtics Stuff Live welcomed back Marc Spears, NBA writer for Yahoo Sports, who was out in Oakland and still remiss that Randy Moss is a New England Patriot. Marc continues to be a top notch guest, both entertaining and informative. He had the CSL guys laughing hysterically on the topic of a new Russian owner for the New Jersey Nets and discretely told an unreported story about KG that sums up Mr. Intensity's attitude towards the young players trying to make their way in the league. Marc has also been out and about covering training camps throughout the league including Golden State (see his article from today on Stephen Jackson) and Cleveland. You can follow Marc on twitter (@SpearsNBAYahoo) or at his new home on Yahoo.

Star-divide

Marc also brought listeners up to speed on an opportunity that presented itself after his last appearance on Celtics Stuff Live; an opportunity to be the producer of a movie script he wrote about his cousin he was a cop in the superdome during Hurricane Katrina. The movie is due out next summer and the CSL guys couldn't be happier to have played a small part in seeing this happen for Marc. Thanks to Josh (originally from Vermont) who is a loyal listener of the show and the person who contacted Marc about making the movie.

Justin and Jon wrapped the show answering e-mails, voicemails, and speaking with a regular caller who happens to have starred in the movie, Return to the Rafters (maybe you've heard of it even though imdb has not, LOL). Rajon Rondo's jumper, Glen Davis fitness and rotations, as well as the developing chemistry of the new additions to the bench were all topics covered in this show.
