The 2nd unit is not just talented but also lengthy, big and physical.
Has any one noticed the size, length and physicality of the 2nd unit bench reserves?
When Doc plays either House or Hudson - both 6'1", Daniels 6'7", Rasheed 6'11", Baby 6'9", either Scalabrine or Williams - both 6'9" thats a pretty big, lengthy, physical line up coming off the bench.
I think due to the size, length and physicality of those players off that bench they are a good rebounding & defending unit and a rather physical one.
The unit even though it has size and length is still quick and can get up and down the court and defend the outside perimeter.
It also has good low post scoring options and outside scoring options.
I think size, length and physicality is important in basketball and like this 2nd unit for these reasons.
Does anybody else notice the size, length and physicality of our bench and think it will be a plus for the C's this year like I do?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Rasheed, Davis, and Williams will never be on the floor together. They haven’t been in 3 preseason games up to now.
So your second unit will consist of House, Daniels, Wallace and Davis, and the fifth guy will be Hudson or Scalabrine, depending on whether we want to go big or small.

No, the fifth guy will typically be Pierce or Allen, depending on matchups.

Kingdom?
I love the second unit as it is constituted, but ‘if’ I could add just one piece it would be another athletic 6’6" or longer wing that can has some sense, plays defense and runs the floor well.
My Kingdom for a wing….

How about...........
Bill Walker for your wing ?
He is 6’6" and athletic like hell and can run the floor.
I just can not wait to see him get some meaningful minutes.
I think he can have a break out season.

Of course...
We have to wait until after Thanksgiving to see him on the court.

He actually meant a wing who can play.

Yes they can play........... but it's the emchemistry
The team is very well put together. We need no knew additions, just play what we have. I would not surprised if we did not trade Scal. I don’t think Tony Allen will be kept because he will not get any floor time. Giddens will not be let go, for know anyway .

2nd Unit
Got to like this second unit! -- Let them get some minutes and tweak if needed.

Walker needs to ........
get healthy and get some meaning full minutes on the court before we can judge if he can or can not play.
To say he is not a good player before the kid even gets legit playing time on the court is a premature judgment.
