Daniels to Play Point Alongside Pierce and Allen
Today’s game will feature a new combination of Pierce, Allen and Marquis Daniels on the floor at the same time. Daniels will be the point guard in this configuration.
"We’re just going to do that just to see what the other team does defensively," said Rivers.

I don't understand
Why is this news? This was exercised to death over the summer. I guess the question for me is why Doc didn’t do this right at the beginning? He played Eddie with the other four, but not Daniels.

daniels the new starting pg?
maybe daniels will end up being the starter so that rondo can dominate off the bench. he is a dominating talent that has problems dominating when he is playing with other dominating presences like of kg,pp and ra. It seems he has been sleep walking through the pre-season though he played real well on the game that the big 3 were in street clothes.

No chance Rondo will come off the bench
I understand where you’re coming from, ForexPirate, but Rondo is the team’s starting point guard. I’m interested to see how Daniels works with Ray and Paul though. It obviously adds height and length to the unit and like Doc said, I’m really curious to see how Toronto combats it.
