Pay the man
I had never heard Rondo having a conversation of any length. I like what I heard. The first person he seeks advice from is his high school coach to me that speaks volume’s for the coach and Rondo.

Good point about his continued connection to his high school coach. But keep in mind, Rondo apparently had little contact with his own father while growing up. So this coach may well have served, to his credit, as a father figure. In any case, it does reflect well on Rondo.

And after all the hoopla this summer, Rondo also lists Danny as someone he goes to.
KG this week identified Doc as someone he turns to.
More credit to Doc and Danny on making the players feel like their management cares about them as people, not just as performers.
