Fit Ray Allen to give foes fits - BostonHerald.com
When Ray Allen said he entered training camp in the best shape of his career, it was an attention-grabber. After all, it’s tough to improve your condition when you have 4.5 percent body fat.
Celtics rookie Hudson hopes to make a point - The Boston Globe
WALTHAM - Lester Hudson didn’t have another plan. He wasn’t thinking about going overseas and coming back. He wasn’t thinking about going to the D-League and working up. Not when he considered where he had come from.
Rasheed Wallace a perfect fit with Celtics - BostonHerald.com
And, for a person of his temperament, the beauty of it all is that he never has to conserve a thing. Wallace doesn’t have to pace himself early in a game to make sure he is able to produce at the end. He can be Sheed every minute that he is on the court.
Scouting report - BostonHerald.com
After Kevin Garnett’s health, Rondo is the biggest key to this year’s team. He is coming off a somewhat rocky offseason and has yet to sign a long-term extension, but he’s been lauded by coach Doc Rivers throughout the preseason. Is this the year he makes the leap to All-Star status?

Antonio Daniels (AD)
I know the season hasn’t even started and the roster was just “finalized”, but I’d love to see us pickup Daniels as a backup PG. Jeff has been craving a Real Backup PG and he’s available, probably for the vet min.
AD also provide a viable option should Rondo go down with an ankle for 2-3 weeks or longer. And with the way plays that is always a possibility. The problem with a Rondo injury is that it affects PP because Quizy would then be playing mostly PG. Also without TA we don’t really have a wing reserve except Quizy, who is our backup PG. I’m not counting Giddens who is still very, very unproven.
Also, we would keep AD from Cleve which just had another Delonte incident. Not a bad thing.
It would mean cuttying somebody, most likely Hudson, who is probably low man on the Totem Pole . But maybe he could go to the D League and we could bring him back if we do a 2-1 trade later. I’m sure we could get him hooked up in Maine.
Supposedly
Cleveland’s already offered Daniels that vet’s minimum… so yeah…
Don't Trade Rondo or Perk!

I’ve heard they’ve talked to him or he’s talked to them, but have not made any official offer. Also, it seems they don’t want to guarantee him the entire Vet’s Min. I would in a heart beat. I think a guy like Daniels could bridge the gap for a short period during the regular season if Rondo was out for 2-3-4 weeks.
