Rasheed? Really that good?
Wallace came from the Pistons, as pretty much there star player.
Though the few games he has played with the Celtics, has he really been 'that' good? I mean, he has been a fantastic bench player for us, but I most definitely would not say he has done anything real special, considering how good he is meant to be. His defense seem scrappy and he tends to make a lot of amateur mistakes, which does cost the Celtics at times.
Am I wrong?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I think............
Rasheed is doing his job for the C’s off the bench.
He gives them size and bulk which they lacked last year off the bench at the center position.
Breaking down his personal game:
Offensively he is hitting the 3 pointer very well and stretching the defense allowing others to be able to penetrate.
Id like to see him score in the low post more though.
His defensive rebounding is ok.
His offensive rebounding is tough to rate since he is so deep outside on the perimeter that he is not in position to get offensive rebounds.
His low post one on one defense has been fine though Id like to see more blocked shots.
His help defense down low could also be better.
So far I say considering he is learning the system and getting in game shape he is doing a good job and will only get better.

He's meant to be an older borderline star coming off the bench.
He’s doing great.

rasheed is playing just right!!! wake up!!!
we dont need sheed 2 play at an all star level ,he is an allstar talent, that has to be accounted for . he always gives us an edge because he plays mostly against 2nd units …..and unlike before when kg or perk comes out the game we used to get smaller or had a considerable drop in good lengthy post defense, he just come in give us the ability 2 stretch the floor, we r so good defensively with sheed &KG IN AT the same time, and thats another thing that i dont understand w/ some posters on these blogs, these so called fans, this celtics team could arguably end up being 1 of the best 2 ever do it we are undefeated and some nervous nellies out there want 2 complain.Rasheed makes us the deepest team in the league,we have the strongest bench when big baby returns,WHY cant we just ENJOOOOOOOOOOOY TTTTHHHHHIIIIISSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 points and 4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes
That’s Rasheed’s numbers off the bench.
Yes OP…you’re wrong. Sorry.

Wallace is the Bill Walton of 2010
Just like Walton helped put the C’s over the top to win the title in 86, Rasheed will put the Celtics over the top this year and help them win title # 18.
He is a perfect fit for this club, adds big time quality depth off the bench and has a great chance of getting the 6th man award this year.

Yep, OP, you are wrong.
’Sheed is doing everything and more that the Celtics want from him.
leothetiger is right – ’Sheed is basically on target to easily win the 6th Man award.

LOL...You are so wrong & Sheed must have read this...
Sheed is also anchoring that second team’s Defense, which has arguably been even tougher on the opposing team thus far then even the starters! He’s been getting not only rebounds, but also scores at will and collects assists, steals and blocks every game. But most importantly, very little turnovers!
I think that Sheed proved his point on Tuesday against the 76ers, when his second unit outscored Philly 62-25.
