The Jazz are preparing to be without Deron Williams for tonight's game against the Boston Celtics after Williams sat out the team's pregame shootaround Wednesday morning and said his strained back had gotten worse.

While the matchup would have been enjoyable to watch, this gives the C’s a better chance to win, and that is most important to me.

from what I recall...
it looks like he always says he’s injured before playing the celtics. He did the same thing last year.

Also said he uses a chiropractor every home game, and most off days. Tightened back from last game when Duhon landed on him during a shot he took. Still tight, but feels a lot better.

He has used a lot of sarcasm this season. He's hurting.
Rajon Rondo, should really eat him alive tonight. Deron had a really bad game on Monday night and said afterword that it hurt to even stand and answer questions. Its too bad, cuz we need to be great to win tonight.
