Umm, What Was That?
First quarter couldn't have looked worse. The second quarter was great. What's with the bi-polar basketball? Where's the Brain Doctor when you need him?
The Magic couldn't miss in the first quarter and the Celtics looked slow, disorganized, and disinterested. Then they started playing defense, got a few transition opportunities, and shifted the momentum right back in their favor.
If the 2nd half is anything like the first I'm going to need to open a thesaurus to find some new ways to describe this team, because I'm out of words.

Vince was a terrible pick up
I still stand by the fact that Hedo would have been 20x better for this team.

embarrassing
team took off most of the 1st and 3rd quarters; they looked old, slow and lifeless until they got way behind and seemed to wake up
almost nothing good to take out of this game; Scal and Marquis hustled, that’s about it
horrible passing all night long; we have a 55 million pg we can’t play in the 4th quarter because the other team will just foul him
I’m not sure this team is capable of playing great defense for most of a game; they just don’t have the legs for it; and the offensive execution just broke down completely
team chemistry among Pierce, Ray, KG and Rondo is absolutely horrible
team needs to wake up and decide if they’re going to play during the season or just sulk and feel sorry for themselves

Seriously, if I see Sheed attempt a three pointer, I'm going to rip my hair off my head.
The Celtics clearly look disinterested and I honestly don’t know what the hell they are thinking. We saw the Celtics at the second quarter… then they just disappeared.
Face it. There is either something very wrong or the Celtics are just too old.

they're sulking and feeling sorry for themselves
the demeanor and communication among Rondo, Pierce, KG and Ray is horrible
it’s like these guys don’t even want to look at each other
there are so many weapons on this team, and they can’t all figure out what their roles are; right now, they’re mostly playing one on one at the end of games
poise and execution are horrible
I couldn’t believe those Pierce passes right on Perk’s shoe tops from 4 feet away

Team can’t feed off KG. He has his moments, but he’s not back yet. Disappointed in Rondo, but know he can do better. Yeah, it’s disappointing, but the sky isn’t falling. We still have a scary, talented team that just needs to get clicking. Rather get that worked out now and start rolling after the holidays.
And KJR nailed it — not enough “team” offense and certainly the spotty team D isn’t what we are accustomed to.
