Bill Walker Assigned To Red Claws
Per a Celtics press release:
The Boston Celtics announced today that forward Bill Walker has been assigned to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. Walker is the team’s first assignment to the NBA Development League this season.

He’s probably going down because he missed all of training camp, and needs to get into game shape?
Otherwise i don’t get why he’s going down and not JR.

I hope this isn't a bad sign for Walker's future with the team.
He’s a lot more impressive than Giddens/Pruitt/Hudson had ever been.

He'll be alright
he’s still on the roster. Not much playing time for him right to get back in game shape, so why not send him to the d-league and do it there?. if TA was healthy JR would’ve went also.

We need Walker...
he is young , athletic and energetic and is just what we need on the roster.
I hope he gets back soon and Doc finds quality minutes for him on the floor.

Yeah i really didn’t think Walker was gonna be the first one, I guess it’s injury related.
I’m surprised Hudson isn’t already there, and i guess Giddens is waiting for TA to come back.
