Should Ainge seek to make a trade to improve the team?
I would like to know if Danny Ainge should seek to make any trades to improve the team in order too help them achieve the goal of obtaining banner #18 this year?.
Ainge after all does have some flexibility and pieces he can trade to possibly help improve the club.
He can trade the expiring contract of Scalabrine.
He can trade the expiring contract of T. Allen.
He can trade the expiring contract of Eddie House.
More drastically he can trade the expiring contract of Ray Allen.
With the great play of Shelden Williams he can also possibly considering trading Big baby.
Does anyone think he should trade any of the above players or package them to improve the team?
If so who can Ainge possible obtain in a trade?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

good point but
youve got a good point there!!i would trade Scala, tony and House!!i would also trade Wallace!!to me he hasnt done anything and hes just makin the team even older!!i would disagree with you on trading Big baby!!!hes young and a very good player,he showed it at the end of last yr filling in and doing a brilliant job,hes also very young which the celts need now!!i would love to try and trade for Durant who i though they should of got in the first place instead of allen and Garnett!!!if i was Ainge,id be lookin for young talent to come in getting rid of the garbage!!!
We're not trading Wallace
He’s been good defensively, and once he gets his shot back, we won’t want to trade him.
Besides, another team won’t take him since he’s not even an expiring contract and he’s 36.
celts need a trade..
i would package baby scal and house it saves us some salary with bb davis stupid contract bring in nocioni he reminds me of toni kukoc he came off the bulls bench and done alot of damage nocioni can do the same spell peirce and his defense is not that bad like people say do it now and lets be the beast of the east again …
I wouldn't trade House
Who would replace him then? Nocioni isn’t the answer. He doesn’t play the 2.
Of course Tony and Scal’s contract will be trade bait. But now would not be for optimum value. Our young talent is good Doc is just not a good couch for them. Doc only plays young guys if there is no other choice.
No Al Jefferson…Perk shines
No Delonte West…Rondo shines
No KG….Big Baby shines
Wont play Lester Hudson….he was the second leading scorer in the nation last year
My point is these decisions are made out of necessity not out of good coaching decisions. Why would anyone in there right mind play House for extended floor time when we have Hudson who is young athletic can score from anywhere on the court. The young man can’t get better being on the bench.
Half agree....
I would love to see Hudson get more playing time, too, but I disagree that Doc is not is good coach! Hudson has seen more minutes as a rookie all ready than any rookie in the last couple years. I think just the fact that he is still in Boston rather than having been sent to Portland indicates that he will get court time. I feel that the young man is very mature and talented and will be helping the team by early next year and Marquis will be backing Paul and Ray more while Hudson spells Rajon.

Too Early
The team is still finding its timing…when BBD gets back we will see how he can help the team’s spacing problems under the basket. I can’t think of who we could trade for right now who will fit the needs of the team when those needs have not been identified yet.
Give the team a chance to mesh, including Davis, before you start tearing it apart. Scal might be good trade bait, but for right now he is filling a necessary role and he has earned his playing time. Watching the games is sometimes painful, but on looking at the breakdown after the game, the guys are not playing badly at all. I don’t like all the three point shots, but they have won us a fair share of the games, and, although we have been spoiled in the last two years, three years ago we would not have believed that we could possibly have such a Good Start! If we start trading and changing we will have to go through the integration process, which is always painful, all over again.
