Iverson to Celtics??

Should Iverson go to celtics

Star-divide

Do you think that the celtics should try and get Iverson on board!!!hes still got it and i feel we would make a really big impact coming on to help us win out 18th!!look at his stats,he still averages 20+ a game and thats quite good lol!!!id foget about his spells at other teams and concentrate on getting him,and helping him do well at a good team like the Celtics, maybe we could get rid of scala r someone.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

does a Triple Amen bring Jesus Shuttlesworth to the forefront of the conversation? Who needs Iverson when you have Jesus? So, here we go…

Wait a minute

What if Iverson was to sit down and (at least) understand that he will be coming off the bench on a contender. I’m pretty sure that the big 3 along with Sheed could convince him to come off the bench and thrive.
Put yourself in his shoes. You’re an allstar, a former MVP. Your starting and scoring 25ppg on a playoff team then you get traded and asked to backup a 3rd year guard who is half as good as you on a team that’s struggling to make the playoffs. Your pissed. Then in the offseason you sign with an "team on the rise" and even though you are clearly the best player on this team your told to start on the bench and your minutes get restricted, even though your playing some real good ball. Your real pissed.
Put yourself in the shoes of a PG or SG that’s playing the C’s with Iverson. You’ve just chased Rondo / Allen around for the first 7 minutes of the game and now Iverson’s coming on and fresh? You would ask yourself "Why me?"
I’m not saying it will happen because it won’t but I think it would be a positive thing for the C’s. Not many other teams could pull this one off but I think the C’s could.

Love and always respected Iverson. But we don’t need him. Bench has already been fortified and Eddie House and Marquis Daniels should be able to hold down point guard duties for limited time while Rondo is on the bench.

Enough is enough, I finally have to admit it. Rondo cannot carry this team to the future.
