If you are anything like me, you miss reading Steve Weinman articles. Well, here's your chance to catch back up with Steve as he starts tackling the subject of the D-League. You can bet he'll keep a close eye on Bill Walker for us.

I look forward to following along this season.

Not much to write about regarding basketball in the "Show Me" state

guess you might as well try Maine …….LOL …..

D-League Digest……is that the basketball version of Reader’s Digest? If it has a “quotable quotes” section…..feel free to contact me for quotable wisdom….and will that digest come in large print for geezer’s?

I still think “D” league sounds too …..ummmmm…harsh….like you’re close to flunking….why not call it Better Yourself Basketball League……The “B” League…then you have to come up with something besides Digest….The “B” League Brochure??? nahhhh…too touristy (like you in Maine with a southern accent)

How about the “B” League Beacon……as you know there is nothing like Maine Lobster Claws being covered in Bacon…..errr I mean Beacon.

Best O Luck and congrats amigo…..I will read the Beacon or digest the Digest

Is it Soup Yet?

Thanks for the kind words, all

Looking forward to taking on the new challenge, though as I’ve discussed with Jeff, I’ll certainly be around here in the comments sections and forums, and I’m looking forward to making a return to the front page when time allows.

It really means a lot to have the continued support of both my fellow staff members and so many others in our community here at CB. Thanks again.

Growing up in the Weinman household, you learn two rules very quickly if you aspire to reach double-digits in the years-of-age category: Hate thy Knick, hate thy Yankee.

Go Celtics, Go Dodgers. -sw
