(Speculation) Sam Smith says Lebron to Lakers
This is my first post, so if it is in the wrong place, don’t shoot me for it. Please fell free to move or merge if necessary.
Sam Smith (author of the Jordan Rules) believes Lebron will go to L.A. Someone please tell me this is not for real! Tell me this has no chance of happening! I'll do it...I swear I’ll do it!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Take Sam Smith with a grain of salt. All he does is make up crazy gossip imo.

There’s no way the Lakers could afford it. Also I don’t see LeBron being OK with the role of the second man of the city (behind Kobe) after coming out of Cleveland and being God there…at least until Kobe retires. Either way I don’t know why I’m rambling on about this, it’s a BOGUS rumor, something that will never happen.

sounds like jibberish...
but in all honesty, bynum, odom, farmar and morrison would cover bronbrons check nicely. we’d be thin, but we would have two teams. let bronbron take on the work while kobe is babied for the playoffs each season. jibberish, but i’m fluent in the language today.
Lakers, Hurricanes, Dolphins
Imagine my sports world in the 80's. They're almost back, 'ceptin the Dolphins

Pay close attention. I grew up in Cleveland. Akron is 26 miles away. Akron is a small town and the people there don’t like leaving Akron. Lebron made over 100 million before he played his first NBA game. So money is not a problem for him. The air port is closer to Akron than Cleveland. What I’m saying is he can be in NY in one hour plus the Knicks have a horrible team. As far as the Lakers, they can’t afford him and Lebron does not like all that glitter and fake hype. I will wager dollar to doughnuts Lebron never leaves that team.

you obviously dont know anything about lebron. lebron is perhaps the most publicized player in the nba right now. he is everrywhere. He even went so far as to say he wants to be the first athlete to become a billionaire.
In Kobe we trust!

i cant believe this guys hairbrained trade scenario is getting so much press. I should just make up a trade that works involving Lebron and get press for it all over ESPn and SBN.
This is none sense. THe lakers wouldnt trade half their team for lebron, and neither kobe nor lebron want to have the other one be able to take credit for any championship that they possibly could win
In Kobe we trust!

I'm a Laker fan
And I don’t want LeBron going to the Lakers. Plus, as previously stated above, the Lakers can’t afford him. They’re already about 9 million bucks over the luxury tax. No way they’re going 20 mill over the luxury tax.
I would not want LeBron on the team. I want to see him anywhere else.
Well let me welcome everybody to the wild wild west. A state that's untouchable like Elliot Ness.

Boston Globe story
My name is Sean Teehan, I’m a business reporter for the Boston Globe. I’m writing an article about the Celtics license plates (a charitible promotion for Children’s Hospital). These plates took years to be made by the Mass. RMV because not enough people (a 1,500 minimum) would commit to buying one of these specialty plates until recently.
I would really like to talk to anyone who has been waiting to receive their plates for a long time. I’m also interested in speaking with fans who haven’t applied to receive these plates about why they haven’t. If you fit into either of these catagories, and are willing to talk to me, I would really appreciate it.
I can be reached by phone at (617) 929-2903 or by email at steehan@globe.com.
