Will Iverson Retire?
Unhappy with his role, Iverson has left the Griz indefinitely and some are speculating that his career may be over.

A.I.
Without a doubt….
The most selfish & overrated player the NBA will ever see!

Actually it's an understatement
How many coaches has he left in his wake?

Hold your horses.
I’m not saying I believe it, but I read somewhere that he actually was off on personal matters, of some sort.
Not saying it’s so, but I just don’t want to jump to conclusions :P

Iverson never has matured enough...
He still is one of the best little men to ever play basketball, can’t take that away from him. It’s just tough to see so much talent go to waste because of stupid reasons.
I admit I was a fan of his when he was playing for the Sixers all those years. It’s hard not to be one where he was beyond amazing, but just couldn’t win much to become greater than who he is now.

I love watching A.I. play but..
the guy is coming off as a complete douche and the last person you would ever want on your team. He could have been great in Detroit (the Nuggets are better off with Billups) and could really help Memphis this year but he thinks everything should be handed to him just because he was a star with the Sixers. Yes, being a starter is a big deal but being able to help your team in any way is a bigger one. If he’d just go out there, off the bench, and put up great numbers that we all know he’s capable of… guess what! Chances are you’ll be put in the starting 5 if it’s that important to you

Exactly
He wasn’t starting because he missed the entire preseason and the first 3 games of the regular season – of course they’re gonna start a guy who was able to put in the work, it would’ve been terribly unfair not to and a blow to Mike Conley’s confidence.
All he had to do was put his head down and go on the court and play his game. Eventually, he would’ve started over Conley – no doubt in my mind. The coach just wanted to work him in first, but AI being AI has never been much about the team so he couldn’t think outside of what was best for his stats. He rant about how “doesn’t need to learn how to contribute to no team – I’ve been playing for 13 yrs” is pure evidence of a guy who has no idea of a team concept.
Its really sad that at 34 he’s still this immature.

Iverson in Celtic's green would be great.......
If we can get him sign him to a minimum contract, then the C’s should try to acquire him ASAP.
He would be great coming off our bench, giving us scoring and ball handling skills.
He will be hungry for a title and with the big 4 around and Doc he probably would not act up in anyway.
Nothing to lose and alot to gain is how I would view the C’s signing Iverson.
So I hope Danny can attempt to get him!
