The Wizards didn't record a single individual rebound in the second quarter -- the first time that's happened in the seven years STATS Inc. has tracked such statistics

Does that mean...
…it has only happened to the Wizards or to all the teams in the league? I wonder how often that’s happened ever.

Considering the Celts are one of the worst rebounding teams, I find this to be a very intriguing accomplishment.

And yet
…the Cs almost lost the game. [[shaking head]]
I am dumbfounded
at how it is possible that the Celtics are one of the Worst rebounding teams in the NBA. How is it possible when you have Perkins, Garnett, Rasheed, Pierce, and hell even Rondo? these guys are all great rebounders. I am utterly confused at how this is even possible!
KG isnt rebounding like he has his entire career, and hes the only dominant rebounder on the roster, 7 a game isnt gonna get it down long term.
Perkins is just starting to rebound in double digits, he really wasnt early on
Pierce is an inconsitent rebounder and never been a dominant one
They have told rondo to leak out instead of pound the glass
theyre also shooting over 50% which ultimately hurts there rebounding numbers
Rasheed?????
Here`s what Ric Bucher of ESPN reports on Sheed :
“Over the summer, members of the Piston family questioned how much motivation Wallace had left, wherever he played. His current shape validates their concerns. When Wallace took off his Celtics jersey after a recent home loss to the Magic, he revealed a spare tire.”
It`s much worse than you think...
As of today {12-12-09}…statistically speaking…the Celtics are officially THE WORST rebounding team in the entire NBA. They are grabbing 38 boards per game.
The best rebounding team?
That would be none other than the LA Lakers…grabbing more than 45 per game.
