Around SBN: Four TCU Football Players Among 17 Arrested In Drug Ring

WHEN WILL WE SEE BILL WALKER?

I really would like to see Bill Walker get some court time this year and puzzled to why he has not been put on the active roster yet, considering he is playing well in the minors and that minutes are now available at the back up small forward spot since Daniels is out hurt.

I think Walker is exactly what the team needs - a strong, athletic, small forward who can guard opposing big, quick,  strong, athletic small forwards that give Pierce, Daniels, Tony Allen problems.

He is very athletic, quick and strong like a bull, is very tenacious on defense and is built for such a job.

I think also his fresh youth full legs would be great bonus coming off the bench.

He also is not shabby offensively  since he has some great power offensive moves to the hoop and proven by his 32 point game the other day in the minors.

I think getting him some minutes to prime him to add him to the playoff roster  would be great since we will need a wing defender like him in the playoffs.

His physical play, tough defense and 6 fouls would come in handy in the playoffs like say when we play against  players like Lebron, when such a player is on a role and Pierce, Daniels, can not contain him or are in foul trouble etc.

I think this is the best time this year for us to put Walker on the court and give him a serious look and give the kid a chance to show us what he has.

Does  any one else agree?

.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

i agree

this man is a beast… when you guys got him with the mid 40s pick in the draft… i was like WOW thats a freaking steal.. they were talking about this guy being a loteery pick a few weeks ago…. i really wanted the lakers to get him but you guys did, and it felt even worse for the lakers biggest enemy to get him so late

I agree player is a potential player for the C's ...

I agree with all that fordescort and matthewmafa have to say.

If the C’s have a weakness its a wing defender against fast, strong, small forwards since Pierce can defend against big slow small forwards, but has problems against big, quick small forwards and Daniels can defend fast small forwrds but not fast big ones which Walker can defend both of.

He is built like a tank yet and is a beast like matthewmafa states, but is very agile and athletic and can play hard nosed defense against opposing scoring small forwards when Pierce or Daniels are having a bad day defending.

The kid has payed his dues last year and this year and since he is a player we need on this roster especially in the playoffs as fordescort states when we will need a wing defender, I think its a no brainer that Walker should be called up and given some meaningful minutes.

Opps...

In my first sentence I meant to say…

“I agree Walker is a potential player for the C’s”

I know you don't want me to say it

But I have to. Just because he’s doing well in D-League doesn’t mean he’s ready for NBA play. Hey, it may even be because he’s still injured, I don’t know. Either way, I think he’ll get his chance if he rehabs well.

AS LONG AS DOC RIVERS IS THERE..

Forget seeing B. Walker playing.. I see a great potential in Walker & it’s a shame not seeing him on the floor.. I think Doc is blind, the man is crazy!

HE'S THE COACH, RIGHT?

Obviously he decides whoever he wants inside the court.. And he sticks with his 8-9 man rotation.. So forget about Walker, Giddens & Hudson getting some playing time.. Don’t be surprised if they end up out of the nba just like Gabe Pruitt.. FOOD FOR YOUR THOUGHT: The C’s have been outrebounded this season & the Doc prefers Scal than Williams. That’s the Doc for you & with Daniels out, he insist on the FUMBLING Tony Allen hahahah..
