Wallace later added, "I’ll still play my game. I’ll still be me. I ain’t changing my game for nobody. I ain’t changing nothing for nobody."

Ouch

Can we hope that he said that before the Big Talk? He certainly was on his best behavior in tonight’s game. There’s hope the worst is over with him… hope now diminished by this quote.

words

I have said that same thing a few times in my life….I am guessing he he will dial it down……for a few games. I got no worries about it.

Wallace is not an x-factor

it helps to have him on the court, but we have 5, maybe 6 more important pieces on this team. we can without him. so if he gets T’d up, it doesn’t help but it isnt the end of the world. i worry about perkins though. he is almost as important as KG.

The whole quote.....

He was not happy with how close referee Bill Kennedy stood near the Celtics bench during timeouts. Wallace was ejected during a timeout in the second quarter.

“If they’re standing right near our huddle trying to stick their ear or nose in there, then yeah, they’re going to hear some stuff,” he said. “That’s exactly what it was. When have you ever seen somebody – a ref – standing over there that close to our bench during a timeout? You already know what it is. I ain’t tripping.”

It seems Kennedy was pulling a set up like the "stare down bit with Doc last season.

Not what the video shows

Wallace said what he said about Kennedy listening in, but that is not what the video shows. On the video, you can see that Wallace is yelling AT Kennedy, that he has to be restrained from going after Kennedy.

Wallace’s infantilism is very worrisome. His behavior on Friday was beyond ridiculous. He really is like a kid out there, especially when it comes to the refs. And we have this guy for 3 years (player option on the 3rd)?? I got a bad feeling about that.
