Ray for Rudy?
What do you think about possibility getting Rudy Gay,Mike Conley and from Memphis, and in return sending Ray Allen and Tony Allen or Brian Scalabrine. Rudy is a young and very powerfull player and seems like he wants out of Memphis. Boston seems like a great spot for him our starting line-up could be Rondo at the 1 I feel like Pierce Could transition to the 2 Gay at the 3 **Gay and Pierce could both play A 2 or 3 type of position, so we would not have a solid 2 but two 3's** Garnett at the 4
Perk at the
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I hope the fact you didn't finish
Was due to someone over your shoulder slapping your hand for thinking this up. Ray is doing way to well to be traded, and I severely doubt the Grizzlies like that trade.
More trades
(Insert sarcastic tone) And while where at it lets trade PP for Ariza and KG for Brook Lopez. Then we’ll have a young talented team for the future!
The fact is that this and maybe next year will be the last year we will contend for a championship then we will be rebuilding. Also if we make major trade now it will probably stuff up the good team chemistry we’ve had over the past 2 years.
No need for major trades. Please stop with the “Trade Ray Ray” posts already. Their a little old.

how about
acutally, um… well now that we think about it. How about the answer is um… no.
How about Not trade Ray or Garnett or Pierce or anymore HOF with rings on this team.
NO
This would be extremely dumb. We all know Rudy Gay is a ball hog. The celtics play as a team and they would not be as dominate with Rudy Gay shooting 3-20. Ray Allen is a veteran who provides playoff experience and a shot that is unstoppable. He is one of the most underrated players in the league. He also opens up opportunities for other players to score because the opposing team usually double teams him. Rudy Gay does not get double team because he has a horrible shooting percentage and is not as much of a threat then Ray Allen.
Thank you Basketball813
Thank You Basketball813 for explaining Ray Allens worth and value on this team. People keep looking at his stats, and his 2 or 3 game “shooting slumps” (even though over half of the players in the league experience a “Ray Allen shooting slump” for an entire season or even entire career) . Ray Allen opens the floor up so much, I think people(fans) take it for granted, and dont even realize it.
I dont know how many times since the start of the BIG 3, I’ve seen Rondo drive a lane to the basket, without help defense sliding over, and being able to create offense,, all because the defense was afraid to leave and help off of Ray on the 3pt corner or wings at all.
Ray coming off screens opens things up a lot for KG and Perk (and sheed and Baby). The fact the Ray is a serious threat when coming off of screens away from the ball (which only a select few are in the league) means that the bigs on D, have to help and show when Ray comes around the screen, until Rays defender has made it around the screen back to Ray,..but by that time, Ray has already tossed the ball to the screener (KG, Sheed, Baby) who popped, or to the bigs who roll to the basket (Perk and Shelden)
Although i know it will never happen, to be honest, the person to trade for Rudy Gay would be Paul Pierce. because their games are more similar in comparison to Rudy and Ray. Rudy obviously is no where near the shooter ray is but, Rudy isn’t even a real shooting threat, so having Rudy and Paul on the same team, the lanes would surely collapse in comparison to how stretched the floor is now with the combo of Ray and Paul
