Trade Ray for McGrady

First of all, let me just set the record straight when I tell you guys that I love Ray Allen. I have followed him since he played at UCONN, being from Connecticut and a huskies fan, and I know that he's a future hall of famer and a class act...But, having stated that, I love the CELTICS more, and my loyalty is to the franchise first....otherwise I'd be a pacer fan, since I still idolize THE LEGEND...Therefore, I really believe that Danny should roll the dice and go for McGrady...Best case scenario, he comes back from his injury and we win Banner 18...Worst case scenario he is a shadow of himself or even injures himself again..However, that still gets Quisy more minutes and allows us to see if Giddens game will ever develop.....I really like our team now and I know that Ray still got game, but I really think this gamble is worth the risk. There is a good chance Ray is gone next season anyway. If anyone sees a scenario in which we get value for his expiring contract, please, enlighten me....Ray, Tony Allen, and Scal for McGrady...Danny make it happen...

Several things wrong here.

There is a good chance Ray is gone next season anyway. If anyone sees a scenario in which we get value for his expiring contract, please, enlighten me

Tracy is also an expiring – so I don’t really see your point.

Best case scenario, he comes back from his injury and we win Banner 18…Worst case scenario he is a shadow of himself or even injures himself again..However, that still gets Quisy more minutes and allows us to see if Giddens game will ever develop

Tracy was injury prone before the microfracture surgery – when was the last time he played a game? Even if he manages to stay healthy, he won’t be in game shape for a large portion of the season. Your worst case scenario, would lose us banner 18 way too easily. Let’s say KG misses a game or two in playoffs due to injury… NOT GOOD AT ALL. And Quis was brought here for bench depth, not to be a starter. Furthermore, Giddens is not an NBA player, people need to accept that and move on.
