Rasheed is doing a good job recently of taming down the 3's and scoring more in the low post.
Does any one else agree with me that it is great seeing Rasheed taking less 3 pointers during this win streak and seeing him score more in the low post ?
I think he has done a good job and deserves some credit for making adjustments to his offense game and taking more low post shots.
I say that because I think he is a very good low post player the way he can position himself with his bulk and length in his sweet spot and then takes a high % shot close to the basket, especially like when he takes his unstoppable, beautiful fall away (ala James Edwards from the 80's) jump shot.
I still would like to see Sheed take some 3's but not to much of them.
Because when he does he spreads the floor, draws out the opponents big man away from the basket, opening things up offensively for all the other players on our team.
I think if Sheed would take a 50/50 ratio of low post shots to 3's it would be great .
I think Rasheed is going to be a major weapon for us heading into the playoffs with his mix of outside and low post scoring capabilities and his defensive capabilities since he provides us with height and bulk coming off the bench which we badly missed last year.
Its also nice knowing that we will have Rasheed on the bench in the playoffs considering his history of playing very well defensively against Shaq and Howard who will probably be the 2 biggest big man threats we face in the playoffs.
I hope Rasheed can keep up the good work and continue his low post offensive game we have seen recently because heading into the playoffs that will be something we will need more of from him, since the game will in the playoffs become more of a low post half court game.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Yes I will give him credit
Rasheed has done a good job trying to control himself over this win streak of minimizing his love for taking alot of 3’s.
Everyone must not forget though Rasheed is mostly known offensively for his 3 point shot, he has always had a great low post game dating back to when he was playing in Portland.
I agree with you that the big fellow’s length and muscle will come in handy especially come playoff time.
I also agree its nice having Rasheed’s size come off our bench as our back up center this year instead of last year where we had to rely on Powe and Baby who were undersized to play the position.
Though Rasheed does I think have problems guarding quicker power forwards and centers, he is great at playing against power players like Shaq and Howard and will be just what the C’s will need come playoff time when the game as you say becomes a 1/2 court power game.
D-Fence against the best of the easts big men.
It’s also nice knowing we have Perk playing amazing this year. He never backs down from big name players and can stop big guys in the post, but this year he’ll score on all-star big men like Howard too. That two dribble pick-up fadeaway is getting pretty nice :D
I agree
Rasheed is doinga good job reducing the number of 3’s he is taking.
He is at his best when he takes the majority of his shots in the low post and the rest behind the 3 point line like he has during this win streak.
He is a great low post player and should utilize his size and scoring capabilities down low more.
Same goes for Perk and Garnett, we need all our bigs to take more shots in the paint then outside of it.
