Frank Ramsey, late 50s Boston Celtics guard who perfected the 6th man role and helped the Celtics to 7 NBA championships. (That's what you call bench strength).
What strikes me most during any championship run, particularly those of the Celtics, is the quality of the bench. This aspect first struck me as a young fan watching Frank Ramsey, perhaps the first great 6th man and the man who defined the term. I'm looking to Scalabrine et. al. to provide relief in May and June.

Sorry but Scal probably will be traded around the February trade deadline so will not be around in May or June.
The best 6th man we will probably have this year who will probably help us the most come playoff time with his length and bulk will be Sheeeeeddddd!

You are probably right. Come May and June, heart and team chemistry will count much.
Still see good chemistry when Scalabrine enters
One more good run. That’s my wish. Like to see him get a second ring. I like the combination of Red and Green.
