All Is Quiet
Globe is reporting nothing new:
An NBA source said today that all is quiet right now with the Celtics trade-wise, with about 24 hours remaining before tomorrow's trade deadline (3 p.m. ET).
Another NBA source said the Celtics have been talking to teams about acquiring a big man. Celtics president Danny Ainge has said that if the Celtics do something before the trade deadline it will be something small to aid their bench.

Eitehr Brian Skinner or Francisco Elson....
Eitehr Brian Skinner or Francisco Elson could be had for the Trade Exception we got in the Cassell deal.
think MIL would like to get out of the 2nd year of Elson’s deal for free?
think LAC would take $500K and the Trade Exception for Skinner?
either would be upgrades as the 5th big man.
More than either - though he’s not a big - i’d love to add Jared Dudley (from PHO, also looking to cut costs) for the Trade Exception and the SAC 2015 protected 2nd round pick.

Just To Get Away From Trade Stuff
“Celtics Now”, a local program about the Celtics (strange as it might seem) was at the All-Star game this week and noted the Bill Russell Award. But my point is about KG. Remember all the stuff about KG and the stuff he does on the court? People who don’t really understand what KG is doing tried to make him look like a monster. Micheal Holley, host of the show, interviewed several players, present and former, and got their comments on this Award. When he interviewed KG, if you closed your eyes, you wouldn’t think it was KG talking. It was always “Mr. Russell”. The respect and awe that KG has for this sports icon says volumes about the kind of person KG is. Bill Russell was very supportive to KG last year and if you remember, when the C’s won the championship there were great pictures of KG and Russell hugging each other and KG saying, with tears in his eyes, “Thank you Mr. Russell”.
