Time to get rid of him - if we could
I’d trade Tony right now .50 cents on the dollar. He’s a headcase, he’s always been a headcase. And I do think that plays into injuries (to some extent). When you play with a lackadaisical, unfocused attitude, these things happen.
I actually like Tony Allen, from what I know of him, as a person but when it’s time to go it’s time to go.
Tony...
…Get well soon! The C’s need you to play well.

Tony Allen should be Traded NOW!!!
We should really look into trading Tony Allen for Rashad McCants, I think Rashad is on the trade block and i dont think he is a dumb as Tony as ..I mean lets be honest I think Tony time is done and the trade can be done straight up.
I would also consider trading Tony Allen, Brian Scalabrine, and Gabe Pruitt to the Toronto Raptors for Anthony Parker and Joey Graham we can also add 2nd round pick or cash but this trades works on the trade checker….either way its time to get rid of Tony..
Let me know what you guys think either way I want him to get healthy i broke my hand over the christmas holidays it wasnt cool at all lol
Trades Are Nice
But it usually takes more than one team (the Celtics) to do it. We need a trading partner. There are also all types of financial stuff that needs to fit. I think we can easily make a trade that any team would snap up if we offered Paul, Ray or KG. Basically, a trade that will help us is probably not realistic.

Celts roster lacking and Danny knows it
Realistically, we aren’t the better team roster to roster verse L.A. Last year we were, this year we won’t as is, especially with Ariza and Bynum both potentially healthy. Add L.A. home court which is very possible if not probable and Celts come up on the short end.
We would be sitting pretty if Danny just got Posey done even if 4 years, did not slam the door on Mutombo when he knocked asking to be a Celt; and still potential for Marbury. We have a very inadequate bench. Danny too smug to know this and think things would just work out on their own. Shame if the bench costs us #18. We are so close to repeating and Celt brass has laid an egg. Thank goodness big 3 are healthy, we need to catch all the breaks to now get #18.
Really?
I thought the season was still in progress.

You know what?
… I think Tony himself would benefit of a trade too… He could be a really decent started on some teams…
