Rumor: Joe Smith Wants to be a Celtic
Chris Sheridan: A source who has been in the know for years tells me that Joe Smith is keeping his fingers crossed that the Thunder do not find another trade for him now that he's back in Oklahoma City. Smith, the source said, would like to do a buyout and then sign with the Boston Celtics as this season's version of P.J. Brown.

I heard David Aldridge say “I know for a fact that Joe Smith wants to go to Boston”, so there’s another ‘in the know’ sort of guy that said the same thing, although Aldridge said it before the now rescinded NO trade.

though unless it’s in combo with wilcox, you hope chris will go first. presti’s a concord guy after all…
meanwhile, you have to wonder whether shinn is now desparate to move salary. scal and POB for Peterson or Pose??

No interest in MoPete.
However, as Roy has proposed, if Shinn would like to move Posey and Ely, I’d be happy to put a nice package together for him.
And I wouldn’t force good old George to take Paddy O’Blount in the deal, either. I’d offer him players he can use – Tony, Powe, Scal, etc.
