Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

Excellent host Phoenix Stan and some goofball who roots for the Celtics pepper each other with questions in advance of the Celtics' visit to the desert on Sunday.

Good stuff

PS makes a good point about Stoudemire absence: they’ll now have a chance to find how good and important he is.

I had no idea Coach Thibodeau was at their last game.

Here’s hoping Grant Hill can play; I was looking forward to this game but if Amare and Hill are out it becomes less meaningful.

Good point stressing the good parts about Garnett’s absence.

Great job, Steve...

Clippers blog? ;-)

Interesting that the Suns guy isn’t a huge fan of Amare… significantly better without Amare? I don’t think so. Also interesting that he didn’t think the Suns were playing well when they put up 140 points two nights in a row.

Thanks, fellas

I actually thought the most interesting point of all came in Phoenix Stan’s last answer. Robert Sarver hasn’t done a good job there, but a lot of the grief he catches nationally is for trying to take the cheap way out, so to speak. PS made an interesting refutation of that point, though I probably should have followed it by asking about letting Joe Johnson loose, which I believe Sarver recently said he regrets.

Manuel Aristides Ramirez is the greatest hitter I've ever seen.

Hmm...

I don’t really buy the argument. Isn’t the fact that the team was so weary of the luxury tax the very reason that the team couldn’t both sign Banks and draft Rondo? The contemporaneous media reports regarding the selling of the Deng, Rondo, Rodriguez, and Fernandez draft picks all cited money as being the primary concern.
