Gosh darn it! Better off getting the injuries out of our system now rather than the playoffs.

Get well, Scal
A real shame. I hope he recovers from this… multiple concussions in such a short period can cause permanent brain damage.
I’m sorry but “cervical sprain” is a load of crap. Maybe not entirely, but he was definitely re-concussed.
Get well soon bud.
God bless and good night!
Oh no
Just got home, so I missed the play but that does not sound good at all.
If it’s really bad we might not see scal again this year. That many head/neck injuries so soon in succession is very scary.
We may have need for mikki and joe smith.
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"
See my comment in the above post about the Babble Curse
it strikes again.
whip lash is no joke
Best wishes, big guy get well soon…..we need you….

it looked like another concussion to me
he looked like a boxer who got ko’d
It Could Be Very Serious
He looked dazed after he went down. He also said he left the game because he felt numbness in his leg. Scal isn’t making a big deal of it, but he could have both a concussion (again) and a spinal cord injury (probably minor).

i really hope its not concussion-related
because if so, scal should probably not be playing until maybe the playoffs…at best.
It seems he's all right
Allen and Scalabrine are expected to play against the Clippers.
Brian Scalabrine left the game late in the first quarter with a neck strain and did not return. He hopes to play in the trip finale tomorrow night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
He suffered the injury when fouled on a fast break by Johan Petro with 3:35 left in the opening period. Scal made the two free throws and remained in the game until the final minute of the session. Then, considering he’s suffered two recent concussions, it was decided he should remain out.
"I was going back and he was coming forward, so I kind of strained or sprained my neck," Scalabrine said after getting five points and two rebounds in 11:29. "I think they held me out more for precautionary reasons. As of right now, it looks like we’ll just take it day by day. Based on my history it’s probably why they held me out, but I don’t feel the same way I felt (after the concussions). I don’t have a headache. I’m not sensitive to light. I don’t feel any of those things.
"Because I got hit in my neck, I had a little bit of numbness down my leg. That’s expected with all the nerves going down. But after that I felt fine. I knocked down my free throws and got back. In the Dallas game, I continued to play but I felt it. This time I didn’t feel it. The biggest thing was the numbness down the leg."
Allen?
Im assuming TA isnt playing against the clippers, so I guess Ray got hurt as well?

Ray Said He's Playing
Ray Allen hurt his tailbone when he was fouled by Anthony Carter while taking, and hitting, a three. The foul by Carter was like a linebacker hitting the quarterback. It was just plain dirty. The foul was called, it wasn’t a flagrant 2, which it should have been. And then Ray was given a tech (as was Carter) because Ray SAID something afterwards.
