Would Be Hard To Think Of One
Before last year Doc had a roster with more high schoolers than any team I can remember. Now he has a roster with probably 3 Hall Of Famers. And he’s done a great job at managing both.

To Add To The Above
Last year Doc started the season with, I think, 3 or 4, maybe 5 players left over from the previous season and only one of them was proven. This could be similar to when Bill Fitch coached with Larry Bird in his first year. I think that team was totally revamped.

There's at least 2 ahead of him
Both Chuck Daly and Phil Jackson coached The Worm. To my knowledge Doc has yet to coach an alien.

Larry Brown
Larry’s been around for a while with a number of teams, plus he’s had to deal with AI, Rasheed and…
…Marbury.
As for Doc, he’s done a great job for the C’s. I hope they keep him around ala Jerry Sloan.

Bill Fitch?
How about the man who coached the 1981 team to banner #14, Bill Fitch: He’s coached teams diverse as:
‘71 Cavs 15-67
81 C’s NBA Champs at 63-19
’86 Rockets WC Champs
’98 Clippers 15-67
Talk about a diverse career spanning 3 decades.
