Happy Celtics Day!
That's right folks, it is time again for the whole world to celebrate the Boston Celtics and all their glory. I honestly don't know why more companies don't give their employees today off to celebrate in style, but at least the NBA has its priorities in check. Several teams are green with envy, just trying to grasp at a small piece of the Celtics lore by wearing shamrocks and rockin' the green in humble dedication to the greatest franchise in all of sport.
Here are a few examples.

And of course...

Thank you NBA for honoring the Celtics so much. It is really touching. Have a great Celtics Day everyone.

The market for these shirts...
You have to think the market for these shirts are the pink hat BoSox types. People who have NO IDEA how much hard-core Knicks and Lakers fans HATE the color green.

I just love the fact that somewhere there are Lakers fans out there somewhere wearing Celtics’ green! A Happy Celtics’ day to everyone! To me, everyday is Celtics day but it’s nice to see the world joining me for one day every year!

I really, really hope
that the Bulls aren’t wearing those green uniforms tonight. That just isn’t right.

UGH!!!
That is just wrong. The Raptors were bad enough, but it will be hard to keep myself from being ill while watching the Bulls in green. The only thing worse would be seeing the Lakers in Green.

Can I please IMPLORE you to take down that Lakers T-shirt picture.
It really is starting to wreck my green filled buzz that St Patty’s Day gives me every year. I so look forward to this time of year because in the 80’s it was a time of classic Celtic basketball and the week that the NCAA March Madness began. I always take a few days off at this time of year to get to the pub, get into some ale, and watch unbelievably great basketball.
That picture of a green Laker shirt is just an abomination that should never have ever been published on this site. Please, please please…….take it down. It’s St Patty’s Day for crying out loud. Things such as that pisture should never come to light on the Greenest holiday of the year!!!!!!

You can still buy green Ben Wallace Bulls jerseys (for about 1/3 the original price). Seriously though, I don’t think you can find anyone here in Chicago lame enough to want one. I hope the game tonight isn’t a total blowout.

For the sake of my sanity
I need tonights game to be an absolute blowout. I can’t take these losses to mediocre teams anymore.
Love the green Lakers t-shirt. There has to be some Lakers fans that bought the shirt and I wish I could meet every one of them to laugh in their faces.

The wearing o’ the green laddy is for the C’s only.

That's right! Wear green!
WEAR IT, damn you! All you mothableepers. Where it and be grateful and be proud.
Especially you Vujacic. Where it and thank the Celtics for inventing such an awesome color for you to wear.

so is boston wearing the road green with gold trim and the bulls are wearing white with green trim? or is that reversed? it is going to look like a celtic scrimmage out there with both teams wearing green….stupid NBA pushing that crap

I would imagine
that the Celtics would wear home white – the Heat wore away black when they did the El Heat uniforms (see Wade’s buzzer beater) and the other team wore white

what the hell??
Why should we have to wear white home jerseys when we are on the road? Are the home jerseys trimmed in gold like the green? I would think we would be the first team to wear special green jerseys for St. Patty’s day! It’s kinda obvious…isn’t it?

It's going to be confusing tonight
I remember watching a Celts-Bulls game on or close to St. Paddy’s Day a couple years back, and no matter how much I knew the players, and knew who was wearing what color, any distraction that I looked back on the game from, and my instinct seeing a green uni go to the hole was elation, until my mind kicked in and remembered the Green team was the other team! When is that ever the case, especially when the C’s are on the road? Should be fun….
