who's in your Final Four?
mine is pretty chalk: Memphis, Louisville, Pitt, and UNC
I figure one or two of those will be wrong, but I don’t know which, so I’m taking them all just in case we have another year like last year (yes I know Mem. is a 2 seed, but I’m almost thinking of them like a 1)

I have 4 brackets
1. Louisville, Nova, Memphis, UNC …. Champion (UNC)
2. Wake, Pitt, UConn, UNC (Pitt)
3. Louisville, Pitt, Conn, UNC (Pitt)
4. Louisville, Pitt, Conn, UNC (Pitt)
Between 3 and 4 for me
Put a gun to my head and I’d probably say 4. Pretty close tie though (as my granny used to say) between 3 and 4.
Since picking with my head never seems to work,
I went idiotically bonkers with the hear this year:
West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Missouri (ZOU for the win!)
That’s my “sheet of integrity,” and I’m sticking to it, wrong as it will be.
Plus, in my second bracket, I committed quite an act of traitorship – taking Louisville to win, coached by a man I refuse to support under just about any circumstances. But the Ricktator does have an excellent team there.

Manuel Aristides Ramirez is the greatest hitter I've ever seen.

that should say "idiotically bonkers with the heart"
Dopey me.

Totally agree about Pitino
He can get superior athletes to play helter skelter, to be sure, but I saw him (back in the day) take a vastly superior Kentucky team and get thoroughly outcoached by Dean Smith’s UNC team to lose a tourney game. That, and about a zillion Celtics games where he was lously. No way Louisville wins. Sorta like your Missouri pick to knock them out, but I don’t pick Mizzou to win it all.
It’s gonna be fun, though.
plagiarism, or great minds think alike?
Hey Jeff,
I concurred, not that I have much confidence in my NCAA acumen. The weakest link looks to be UNC if Lawson doesn’t get back. Fla. State smacked them pretty good in the ACC Tournament.
Good luck to you!

I hope UNC isn't the weak link
because that’s who I have winning it
I went with my gut for the whole bracket
after I finished I almost wanted to pick Memphis over them, but never changed it – we’ll see if that comes back to bite me or if it won’t matter at all

You guys are in trouble
I am ranked #1 in all the land. ;-)
every year
it is a race to see how quickly I give up on my brackets
I think I made it to the middle of day 2 last year before throwing in the towel

gut vs. overthinking
in the past I’ve been guilty of overthinking, so the last few years I just go with my gut, neither really “works” but this way is much less stressful
the only thing I changed was picking Nova to beat UCLA and Duke (my first reaction was to have UCLA win and get beat by Duke

Cal State is hanging in there...
only -4 with the 1st half nearly over.
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"
that would bust some brackets
then again, if a 2 goes out now, it pretty much breaks everyone’s brackets so the effect is a little less

but that's what the tourney is all about.
plus I think Memphis is weak, so I would like to see it.
Go Cal State Northridge
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"
tied with 11 min to go.....

My final four
Lousiville, Memphis, Pitt, UNC
I got Pitt going all the way.
