KG May Miss Thunder Game
Probably wise considering we won't likely need him for that game. Herald
Asked if Garnett would play if this a Game 7, Rivers replied, “If this was Game 1 of the playoffs, he may be (playing). But it’s not, so we want to make sure when that does come he’s ready.”
It’s more than likely Garnett will miss tomorrow night’s home game against Oklahoma City, as well.
“We’re just going to go day by day,” Rivers said. “I would say that because of this, sitting him down, I would probably say if we’re going to do it we’re going to do it more than one game, but I’m not sure yet. If he feels great (today), then (tomorrow) comes back into play. But I don’t know. There’s no reason to take a chance.

This is a much improved team
With better players than the last time we played them. We’d best not be sleeping.
Great opportunity for continued time for Moore and Marbury. I can’t imagine that Rajon will see too many minutes unless necessary.
There IS no rush...
…because who cares if they wind up 2nd or 3rd? The answer is very few folks think it’s a big deal to finish 2nd or 3rd, which is where they’re bound to wind up. They could take Miami easily; as they could the Bulls or the Sixers. Success in the playoffs is much easier to achieve with a HEALTHY and READY-TO-GO squad to include KG and LEON and T.A. and RONDO. It’s not even news at this point that they’re resting guys for round 1 and perhaps even as long as round 2 at which point they’ve little choice but to let the horses run.
Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk
As many as it takes
KG will only needs a few tune-up games to get ready for the playoffs…if he needs several more to be ready for the playoffs, then so be it.
get some rest...
no disrespect its the thunder and we are at home… give some more minutes for big baby improve his confidence
